The Garage Project Update

Dave finished his side of the garage, and it looks great:

We went to Home Depot to get some basic shelves to replace the existing ones that were falling apart, and of course, ended up getting the nicer-looking, high-end ones. (Read: more expensive ones). But they look great, and most items are stored behind the nice looking metallic doors. Dave also went through all of his drawer storage organizers and consolidated items;
I think he ended up getting rid of two of them!
He re-hung his tools and organizers,
and it looks so neat and organized!

Next, he started to repaint the area at the back of our garage. We had it painted a burgundy color, but for consistency sake, we decided to paint everything the same color:

You can see the old color being covered by the new (neutral) color.

I don't have a "before" picture of the this area, but here is the "after":

It might not look like much, but it is a BIG improvement. The shelf at the top is new. I convinced Dave to put it up to store items that we had piled up on the freezer, but hardly ever used. It looks great, and makes a big difference! So, it may look minor, but we are so happy with it!
Next up. . . MY side of the garage!!
Which means, I have to move all of my
plastic containers aside so Dave can get to it.
I have to move all of my craft supplies, Easter and Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations, assorted baskets. . . .well, you get the idea. But afterwards, I will also have a beautiful side of our garage! Ah, the simple pleasures that bring such joy! : )
(Will update my side with pictures as soon as it's done!)
